The Dragon With A Chocolate Heart by Stephanie Burgis; a child’s review

I was lucky enough to get an uncorrected proof of The Dragon With A Chocolate Heart by Stephanie Burgis, which I devoured faster than the chocolates I received for Christmas.

I was then absolutely delighted when Stephanie gave me permission to lend it to one of my pupils for an honest review…

“Funny, emotional, exciting! This book was extremely good! My favourite character was Aventurine because she is so brave and adventurous. I also loved her brother, Jasper, because he’s funny, and scientific too. Every time the word chocolate came up my mouth started watering. I’m really looking forward to Miss Cleveland putting a real copy on her bookshelf so I can talk about it with my friends. 5/5 ✨ ” SK, Year 5
